I was tasked to write a case study and design a presentation on a historical graphic design figure that demonstrated an understanding of the principles, techniques, and influences of said figure.
I chose to write my case study on the poster designer Adolphe Mouron aka A.M. Cassandra. After writing a paper about the work and contributions of the famed poster designer, I designed a short booklet/presentation for the paper based on the works of Cassandra himself.
In my research, I looked at various works by Cassandra and studied his techniques, approaches, and influences to incorporate into my presentation. I researched and used fonts both designed by him and some inspired by his work. Each page is derived from one of his poster designs and follows similar organization structure and the visual dynamics of his designs.
